Stand back! I'm going to use the electric shock thats a sort of medicine if you're very ill, but can make you a sort of ill if you're fine. CLEAR! Oh no... he was fine. Now he's poorly from too much electric.

"A great rendition of an already great song!"
I was browsing through the AP when I saw this track listed - and obviously I HAD to take a look, seeing as the soundtrack to Dire, Dire Docks is one of my favorite pieces from the entire Mario 64 game. I was not disappointed. You have put a nice spin on a brilliant tune, and created something fairly unique in itself.
The memories came flooding back happily, and a 'techno-ey' fun version didn't detract from the original vibe of the piece. Just gave it a different perspective.
Keep up the good work Saku.

Hmmm, stumbled across this little loop and I must say, I really quite liked it. Very, very chilled, which is a good thing. It's definitely more ambient to me than trance, but I feel it would be well suited in a video game soundtrack more than anything else (in it's current form). I don't have a problem with the repetitiveness seeing as it's a loop (in fact I've had it playing during the composing of this review and it hasn't gotten annoying or old in any way), but I suppose you could branch out and make a full blown song out of it. Could be cool. I would be inclined though, to be careful when adding more and more to a track and trying to create diversity. Sometimes, the original effect can be lost.
By the way, Liquidfire666 mentioned that he got a Bomberman64 feel out of this track and I have to agree, though I also don't know why exactly. Something to do with the vibe of it.
Keep up the good work anyhow.

Anyone who says this is just "ok" obviously has some kind of mental problem.
Or possibly just no understanding of what makes good music.
Neither are desirable attributes.

Still my favourite; this song is awesome. See, you think it just can't get any better, then... the drums come in.

For a first submission, this is an excellent loop. It has a nice melody to it, and is long enough to avoid being repetitive. I have had it playing on repeat for a little while, and the fact it's looping isn't really that noticable at all. Always the sign of a good loop.
I'm looking forward to hearing more audio from you.

That was a cool little track trevo. It was really quite funky, especially after it built up a little. It also had enough variation to not be repetitive, which is always good.
I know you said this is a work in progress, and I think it's great so far. I'm looking forward to hearing a complete, full version some time in the future :)

Gooch, that was some phat bass. I thought that track was pretty darn good, and the riffs were really well done. I thought the inro for the song lacked a little, but once the song started going, it certainly made up for this.
If I had one complaint, it would be the crash cymbal. I like the idea of having the crash there, but i just felt it was a little too loud and overbearing (haha, it almost scared me at first). If this wasn't so loud, I think it would fit in with the groove of the track a little better.
Overall, a funky track. There is heaps of potential here. Submit more audio Gooch!

"You summarised the addiction!"
Haha, great track Denvish. I haven't listened to this song much in the past, but after listening to a whole heap of your more serious stuff, I think I can appreciate it better. I sat down and listened through a few times, and the lyrics really got me. They were great!
The song itself sounded kind of familiar to me, so I'm not sure if you did a remix of actual song, or if its an original one. Either way, it's a great melody, and hearing some good old guitar playing is always a welcome change on the AP (plus... THE VOICE... soo good).
You haven't submitted any music for a while Den :*( I guess you're real busy with things these days. Still, always looking forward to hearing more new music from you.
